The free license has no limitations on the time it can be used -- there is no limiting "free trial period." Organizations can choose to purchase an annual support subscription, which also provides access to future product updates and enhancements.

As future development of new building blocks for our more scalable TFS EmailControl solution continues, TFS will add support for Linux and Unix, using the same proven technology that is used in other TFS solutions. At a later time I may run a review of the TFS EmailControl (previously known as Secure Messaging Server). I have used this product for many years and have tweaked it into a mean spam fighting machine, tweaks that I can share with you wanting to run this software.
