These are a few tools that were built for the sole purpose of removing specific pieces of malware.

It should be noted that one should have utilities that repair internet connections such as, WinsockFix, to recover in case the malware damages your internet connection during the removal process.

We will begin with plug-ins for Adaware SE. These are simply add-ons for Ad-aware that extend its functionality.

VX2 Cleaner
Description: This plug-in allows Ad-aware to effectively remove the VX2 Malware.

Description: This plug-in allows Ad-aware to effectively remove the TV Media Adware.

Kazaa Begone
Description: This removes all the bundled adware applications associated with Kazaa Media Desktop.

Description: This removes the dreaded About:Blank hijack.

PeperFix
Description: Supposedly removes the Peper Trojan.
