Our favorite mini-AntiMalware tool, cwshredder (used to remove the CoolWebSearch parasite and its variants), has been sold.

Intermute has acquired the CWShredder removal tool from Merijn. They have also released a new version labled 2.0. I installed it and it now creates a new folder in program files labled Intermute and includes another .exe file that displays system reports. They have integrated the tool into their AntiSpyware package but do maintain a free version. Its interface remains mostly unchanged, but does include references to Intermute. I myself will be slow to adopt it, untill i hear more about it, for I have never heard of Intermute before.
